Here is how we got inspired to create our Kitsune collection;
In Shinto tradition, kitsune are otherworldly foxes with supernatural powers. Able to grow as many as nine tails, kitsune come in two forms: beneficent (zenko) and malevolent (yako).
The opposite of humanoid deities who can take canine form, kitsune are foxes that can take human form. Inari temples throughout Japan feature perky-eared stone statues of these keenly alert canines.
